FAQ  How can we help you?

Forward Meetings is a new iPhone application which allows users to forward thier meeting to a new attendees by email or or SMS. Following are frequently asked questions:

How do I set the email account to use when sending email?

Unfortunately, Apple SDK doesn't allow apps to pick email account from the user settings. The email composer pick the default email account from the user preferences.

There are two ways to work around this however. User can set the default account to be the desire account or change the email account just before sending an email:

Option 1:

  • Launch Settings from your home screen

  • Tap Mail, Contacts, Calendars

  • Scroll down a bit and you'll see a Default Account option

  • Tap Default Account and choose the account you'd like your phone to use as the primary account

  • You're done!

Option 2:

  • Tap on any reply option

  • When composer appears tap on the From field in order to change the email account you're sending from.

  • You'll now see a ticker that allows you to switch between accounts. Simply tap on the one you'd like to choose.

As a workaround, user can set a reminder to switch email before sending an email through the app. This workaround can help to avoid sending email using a private account.
